A markedly floral, cool and equally restrained nose only grudgingly reveals its blend of raspberry, crushed fennel, spice and plum scents. The medium-bodied flavors possess unusually good density for the vintage, all wrapped in a moderately austere, balanced and bitter pit fruit-inflected finale. This is also going to need patience as it's quite tightly wound today. Note: from vines planted in 1984 Drink: 2031+
