Gevrey Chambertin Goulots, Domaine Fourrier 2005

Tasting Notes

This relatively obscure 1er always displays an elegant and upper register nose dominated by cool red fruit aromas and obvious minerality that gives way to fresh and ultra pure middle weight flavors and a detailed, reserved and intense finish where the mineral character is almost pungent. This is a beautiful effort that defines finesse.
