Nuits Corvees Pagets, Domaine Arnoux / Arnoux-Lachaux 2011

Tasting Notes

This is also exceptionally fresh though much more restrained with a beautifully well-layered nose of red berry fruit, earth and a hint of spice. There is a wonderfully seductive character to the rich and velvety middle weight flavors that manage to retain a fine sense of precision on the mouth coating and vibrant finish. This should mature gracefully and require the better part of a decade to be at its best. Drink: 2018+

This rich red is suave and ripe, laced with black cherry, black currant and oak spice flavors. Balanced and supple, with complexity and a lingering aftertaste of sweet fruit, mineral and spice. Best from 2016 through 2026. 265 cases made.
