Toasty spices on the nose. White citrus, green apple with leesy, mealy notes on the palate. Treads the line between tart fruit, cereal notes and oak. Very smart on the finish, thanks to zippy acidity (there was only 21% malolactic conversion here). Full but not fat in texture, with enough concentration to age until its 10th birthday.
