Chambolle Musigny, Domaine Georges & Christophe Roumier 2005

Tasting Notes

A brilliant Village Cru from Christophe Roumier. It has a beautiful, subtle nose with Morello, wild hedgerow and a touch of wild heather and violets. The palate if feminine, seamless with filigree tannins but it seems to have closed down since bottling. It has lost that malic tincture it exhibited in barrel but this Chambolle will certainly need, but it will certainly be worth the wait. Village crus do not get much better! Drink 2010-2020. Tasted February 2008.
