Whisky

Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the product of one specific distillery. Each region has its own distinctive style and it is usually possible to distinguish in which region of Scotland a particular whisky was made. Scottish regulations require single malts to be distilled in pot stills and, by law, all whisky must be aged for a minimum of three years in oak casks, though many single malts are matured for much longer.

In recent years there has been a renaissance in malt whisky and avid collectors seek out the oldest and rarest whiskies in the market.
