Notes of pear, white flowers, freshly baked bread and toasted nuts introduce the 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Encégnières, a medium- to full-bodied, satiny white with racy acids that lend it impressive tension and energy. Drink 2027-2040.
Pale lemon and lime. This is distinctive and classy, a really excellent example of Chassagne grown in the right terroir. Very persistent, with little waves of orchard fruit returning. Drink from 2027-2032. Tasted Oct 2024.
