This pure and expressive effort delivers a small step up in aromatic elegance with notes of violets, rose and spiced plum as well as ample amounts of the hallmark minerality for which Fuées is quite rightly known. The medium-bodied flavors are attractively textured, dense and quite serious with a remarkably deep reserve of dry extract that pushes the very firm tannins to the background. A knockout that should age brilliantly. (Drink starting 2022)
