Chambolle Musigny Feusselottes, Mugneret-Gibourg 2012

Tasting Notes

The 2012 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuesselots is located quite close to the cemetery that lie next to those belonging to Cecile Tremblay, whose father was friends with Georges Mugneret. Indeed, Marie-Christine told me that they bought the original parcel together. It has quite an intense bouquet delineated Morello cherry, raspberry and minerals that gather pace in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tensile tannins and a citric core of fruit that manifests a tart, edgy, life-affirming finish. This is another beautiful 2012 from the domaine.
