Tasting Notes

The 2010 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru was a low-volume vintage due to coulure that reduced quantity to just two barrels. It has a very intense and delineated, electrifying bouquet, with red fruit tinged with pencil lead and light estuarine scents. Brilliant focus. The palate has a symmetry that the 2009 does not possess, taut and linear, gradually building towards a piquant finish that lingers long and tenderly in the mouth. A true Grand Vin. Tasted at the Clos de Bèze vertical at La Cobotte. (Drink between 2023-2045)
