There is a touch of phenolic character (think olive oil nuances) to the ripe and nicely layered aromas of petrol, white orchard fruit and citrus confit. There is both more volume and richness to the utterly delicious medium weight flavors that retain excellent punch that carries over to the seductive, clean and refreshing finale. This is an excellent Chassagne villages and worth your consideration plus it should age well over the mid-term.
The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Village is attractive, offering up aromas of honeyed peaches, nutmeg and freshly baked bread, followed by a medium to full-bodied, generous and textural palate with a satiny, seamless profile.
