Hints of wood spice and smoke add breadth to the distinctly earthy and mildly sauvage-infused dark pinot fruit aromas. There is excellent mid-palate density to the rich and voluminous flavors that coat the mouth with dry extract while delivering fine depth and length on the balanced and sappy finale that also displays a touch of youthful austerity. This is really quite good and the tannins are finer than usual as well. Outstanding.
