A ripe, spicy and earthy nose that possesses notes of dried herbs and floral hints gives way to intense, pure and beautifully detailed middle weight flavors that are given shape and support by very fine tannins and excellent length. This is not as powerful as the other Nuits 1ers in the range but it's easily the most refined and will almost certainly mature earlier as well.
